David Beckham involved in car crash after picking son Brooklyn up from football match
DAVID Beckhham has reportedly been injured in a car crash.
The retired footballer is said to have been involved in the incident after picking his son Brooklyn up from the Arsenal training ground this morning.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the 39-year-old had was collecting his eldest son from London Colney in Hertfordshire, where Brooklyn’s Under-16s team had been playing against Brighton’s Under-16s.
It is though David was injured, though not seriously, with one young player claiming he had hurt his shoulder.
Archie Davies, who plays for Brighton, tweeted: “Just seen David Beckham looks like he got in a car crash and hurt his shoulder.
Another Brighton player added: “Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weird to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car…”
A source told the Daily Telegraph: “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang but thankfully everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine.”
The crash is said to have involved one other vehicle.
Brooklyn was signed by Arsenal on a short-term contract earlier this month after impressing coaches at The Emirates.
