Jake and Foggy took part in the latest I'm A Celebrity Bushtucker Trial

The two men were fighting for their respective teams – Jake the Galahs and Foggy the Wombats – in a watery hell of a task.

The aim of Down the Chain is for each man to try and unshackle themselves from the chains they were attached to while water cascaded into the plastic box they were being held in.

With water filling up fast it’s a battle of the boys to see who will free themselves first from the dangerous and adrenalin-fuelled task.

Foggy was the first to unchain himself from the first padlock but Jake followed quickly and both men worked fast.

Jake soon overtook former biking champion Foggy and raced ahead, but with the water filling the tanks up fast it was game-on for both the boys.

Presenters Ant and Dec both looked worried as they looked on from afar, watching the water cascade in.

A tub of water spiders joined the men in their tanks, making the job of finding the keys much, much tougher again.

The clip released ahead of the show, which airs at 9pm this evening, cuts off as the men are knee-deep in cold water and still chained up.

Whether or not the boys make it out remains to be seen, but water may become a day-to-day part of life in camp soon as floods threaten to take over Croc Creek.

An ITV source told the newspaper I’m A Celebrity bosses were preparing to move the stars from camp after it was hit by downpours.

The storms, which have seen hailstones the size golf balls hit nearby-city Brisbane, are set to continue for the next two days.

The camp mates appeared to be enjoying the rain, momentarily, over the weekend but floods are a serious threat to the TV show.

Watch the whole trial on ITV1 this evening, 9pm.
