Jonah Hill is virtually unrecognisable as he shows off huge three stone weight loss out in LA
Jonah Hill was barely recognisbale when he was spotted out and about in Los Angeles this week.
The 33-year-old actor looked trimmer than ever when photographed walking solo through West Hollywood on Tuesday.
After putting on weight while filming 2016 film War Dogs, he’s said to have a lost a whopping three stone.
The star’s slim legs were on display in a pair of shorts, though he hid his face under a beanie hat and shades.
At his heaviest, the actor was 18 stone – a weight gain he said was for War Dogs in which he starred alongside Miles Teller as an arms dealer.
When quizzed about his transformation recently, he told Jimmy Fallon that he had help from buff Hollywood star Channing Tatum.
He said: “I gained weight for this movie War Dogs, and then I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing Tatum, and said, ‘Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?’
“And he said, ‘Yes, you dumb motherf**ker, of course you will, it’s the simplest thing in the entire world.'”
It’s not the first time he’s lost weight as he previously said he shed 40lbs when he starred in Brad Pitt’s Moneyball in 2011.
“It was just mostly diet. I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something,” he shared.
“I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff. I found that Japanese food was very helpful to me.”
Jonah, who has two films slated for a 2018 release, added to ABC news: “It’s so annoying because when I don’t drink beer, I get really really thin. Then when I drink beer, I get a little bigger.”
