It’s been a whirlwind few years for the British star, who not only launched a fitness DVD, but has also worked on a total of four cookbooks, and presents his own TV show Joe Wicks: The Body Coach on Channel 4. However, Joe has admitted he has no intention of slowing down any time soon, instead favouring a “high energy” lifestyle to keep himself motivated.
“Well, the rewards are so high,” he explained. “Yeah, I’ll be tired when I get up in the morning, but when I get to whatever I’m doing, the people there, the questions they’re asking me, the response I get – every day is different.”
Joe is the latest Men’s Fitness cover star
Joe has already come a long way since he first started running a fitness bootcamp in his local park. In just two years he has amassed an impressive following – including stars Ellie Goulding and Olly Murs – thanks to his 15-second videos of healthy recipes, and his best-selling Lean in 15 cookbook which landed a spot in the 20 cookbooks of all time.
“I always try to be as realistic about it as possible,” Joe previously told HELLO! of his approach to food. “Some people are too hard on themselves if they have a bad day. I always say ‘Don’t let a bad day become a bad week of eating.'”
